• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The fella is full of shit (swedehead, not Darran).

He shit himself when a few of us called him for what he was when he was in the harvester with his Den Haag tough guys.
Just as well you didn't take the last roast potato from the carvery or you would have seen the nasty side of the lardy fatboy! 😟

Couldn't get anywhere near the carvery, you know what security is like on a match day šŸ˜‚

I thought that was a well know fact.

Just like him trying to deny his bald spot that the whole of the West Stand can see apart from him......
The guys on the International Space Station can spot his Welsh Cake never mind the whole of the West Stand šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

In fairness much has been said of Coleman having his hands tied by Levian.....It seems maybe Coleman may be putting his money where his mouth is....having challenged Levian and Kaplan.

Let's remember Coleman has only been around for what 18 months...during which time there were other more senior shareholders....this looks like a management buyout....
I hope you’re right. Presumably he sanctioned last summer’s transfer activity, which was an utter disaster. There’s no doubt a lot more to it than I know though. He’ll get a reset and fresh slate from me, but he needs to show he’s learnt from his time here so far.

So basically they knew nothing

And after it has been reported they know as much as the rest of us

Just read that and it was much to do about nothing, the bit about them stating that "we will continue to encourage the club to provide more information on the upcoming owner and investor changes as soon as they are able"
Which speaks volume's for the authority they hold which is obviously zero see as the stupid clowns sold their rights down the Tawe, but as part owners with an interest they've surely got a legal right to know,?

A mate of mine is from Llan Ffestiniog so I asked him about this. Apparently Morris has done loads of good work there - renovated the local community pub and, since this video, he’s completed the renovation of the church and reopened it as a youth hub. Clearly the level of investment is on a different scale to a football club, but he appears to be someone who keeps his word. My mate couldn’t speak highly enough of him. He even turns up and helps out at Blaenau Ffestiniog FC. Big pals with Noel Mooney of the FAW it seems.

Beyond the above, I have absolutely no inside knowledge and nothing tangible on which to base my views, but I’ve got a good feeling about this takeover. Let’s hope it’s completed quickly.

What is his link to the area?
I know he has Welsh family so assuming they are from the area?

It does seem he has integrity and compassion going by what you write and I have read elsewhere. We need these credentials in a person given the lack of it in recent years.

On a side note, it seems that one of the people who is going to be involved but unknown presently is someone with a lot of wealth that can blow Morris, Kaplan and Leviens combined worth out of the water. Let's hope it to be true and gets over the line.

Do you think they'll put cash in for players daps?
