I think that’s what’s needed…

If we can have a decent run and cement a play off position between now and the Winter break, then I’m hoping that will be enough of an incentive for the owners to dip their hands in their pockets, and make sure we have that quality at wing back positions.

I said to my mate yesterday if we had Cyrus Christie & Hanes Wolf instead of Sorinola & latibeaudire we’d be right up there

What a shame we couldn’t keep those 2

Can barely keep a clean sheet, and that will cost us any hope of progressing this season .

Be interesting to see if we go in for Ogbene & Drameh in the January window.

If we merely halved the number of unforced errors that have led to opposition goals we’d be top of the division comfortably.

Manning has been one of our best players this season, really hope he's back for Sunday. Lati is okay but just doesn't have enough attacking ability which is crucial for the wingbacks in this system. Definitely could do with an upgrade over him and Sorinola (who has improved since the start of the season but is still a backup really).

The irony is that we have four wingbacks at the club already, one is permanently on the bench with a centre half being preferred in his position, one is injured, one doesn't even make the bench and the other is blowing a little bit hot and cold at the moment.

Where RM can really earn his crust for me is by turning those four players at his disposal into a group of players who are pushing for places in the starting lineup and improving them rather than playing a centre half out of position where he gets zero goals and zero assists.

Latibeaudiere is a liability. He's far too slow for any position on the pitch, can't cross, can't beat a man (so why play him at right wing back?) and is by far our weakest link.
I understand the need for a player like him on the bench as he can play many positions, but he should be nowhere near the starting XI.

As the original poster says, two quality wing backs, or even one really good one (as Manning is doing an excellent job on the left) and we would be a far more dangerous team......

What's going on with Ogbeta other than the obvious fact that he's not making the match day squad? Is he injured or simply farmed out to reserve team games?
