• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

😂😂😂😂 grow up cma ffs you’d be sleeping by now if Cooper was here

I can see Whittaker and piroe coming in either half time or not long after. Our tempo has gone too slow after a good pace to the first twenty mins or so

It's funny but imagine if we'd been told that this would be our team for first home game three years time when we were relegated. It's horrifying

We can thank Big Nose, Morgan and all the other fkn sellouts for the 5 minutes of due diligence they spent on our fkn useless American owners... 'Next Level' stuff my massive sweaty arse!!!

Waaahhhhhh we haven’t scored wahhhhhhh spend 10 million on a striker waahhhhhhh hate the name of the stadium waaaaaaaah

Going to be an interesting season. We look a bit unbalanced and disjointed due to injuries and a new style of play. But give it a few weeks and one or two additions and we can look to start building. When players start knowing their shape, the positional role on the field, the pass to make, combinations etc, we can look to speed the game up and then finding the final ball will become easier.

Get this right and it'll be a fun season. The strikers will have a field day. Patience, the style we remember is coming home.

Oh and get Paterson back central we are wastong him somewhat on the left flank

We are still above where we have been for most of our existence ffs Bryn, what you want us to do spend 30 million? For the record the yankey doodles have spent money, just on crap a la clucas.

I think considering Sheff U are also a passing team to have over 60% posession and limit them atm is brilliant
Under Cooper we'd have had 4/5 chances against us and possibly conceded, sitting on the edge of our box
Piroe needs to play though, his movement will create chances

Strikers?

Boring as f*ck.

Indeed. We need a bit of Laudrup here. No point in having the ball if you don’t actually intend to try and do anything with it. That said, a point would be a decent result. They look very tight at the back and are sitting deep. We need more pattern in the final third. Paterson has been ridiculous in his negativity or he can’t kick with his left foot. Lati looks much better at right wing back than in the back 3 and Cooper is promising. Benda should come with free pairs of rubber pants for the fans and our openness to punts over the top are a bit hair raising.
