Swansea City: Is time up for Luke Williams after dismal derby day display heightens pressure?

The only hope LW has if we bring in some quality additions this window and he changes his strategy during games..

Also motivate his players..

Not forgetting his questionable subs..

Oh and his ability with his PR with stop throwing players under the bus..

And stop his obsession with possession stats...

Other than that.. 😉

Like to know what his thinking was moving Cullen back upfront, after a fairly productive spell playing behind the striker. A wrong and completely unnecessary move.

It's just not exciting going to watch anymore.

It hasn't been for quite a few years.
The only reason I've got a season ticket, is because my son and daughter want one. If they weren't interested, I definitely wouldn't have one.
The Leeds game was half tidy and the qpr performance was OK. Other than that, it's all a bit meh.
He's nullified Ronald, Eom and Peart-Harris. Sadly, Franco is starting to look restrained and as for Cullen as a lone striker yesterday, wtf was that?
We rarely look to break when we do get a tackle in and win the ball, the default setting seems to be, pass it back and don't give it away. It's like they're scared to try anything as they'll mess up the possession stats. The wingers always receive the ball behind them, so they're starting from a standstill ,the defenders are never facing they're own goal, therefore we don't get teams on the Blackfoot. Even the passing is slow, there's no movement, no wingers cutting inside, no midfielders making diagonals, we don't move their defenders about and create gaps.
We are easy to read and very, very predictable

I saw a vlog from a neutral last night.

At HT he said he can understand possession football, but with some sort of intent. His comments on us was boring and tedious.
Also commented he shouldn't have been surprised as he had seen Notts County a few times under Williams.

The brutal reality is, after the last 3-4 weeks, if he got sacked this morning he just wouldn't have any cause for complaint. None whatsoever.

It wouldn't magically solve most of our problems, mind. But that's a separate issue.
Also, if he got sacked here he would probably become a League 1 or League 2 manager. He's done nothing here to warrant a club higher up than us, and i don't believe West Brom were really interested in him.

Isn't it the fourth successive away performance against four struggling teams short on confidence that's illustrated he's a pile of garbage?

Hull, Pompey, Soton, Scum. Aggregate goals 12-1

The home game against WBA was dreadful too, rescued by a late goal out of nothing, and the Luton win against a truly terrible side needed an injury time goal.

Get the thick chancer out, and back to non-league where he belongs. It won't solve our problems, of course not, but it will improve us, unless our esteemed owners pick another idiot. Or maybe get some increased value from him by getting him to drive the team bus.

FFP is the obstacle, that's not gonna matter if we drop through the trap door into League one though, a points deduction won't be needed with the direction we looking to be heading at moment its been said that we are gonna probably need 5 or 6 wins to keep us in the Championship, can't see where those wins are gonna come from though.

I'd look at an interim and spend quality time looking for someone for next season. Got nothing to lose by giving it to Joe Allen till May. Least his heart will be in it. I just don't think we can carry on with his ineptitude. He could completely destroy any confidence our good players have.

unless something doesnt change and quickly we will be down there fighting to stay in this div, quick desisive action is required

Joe Allen?

Dear god

I take it that's not a good move for you then ? So, do we stick with the same shit that is destroying our players, ?
What credentials does he have to coach anyone?

Not saying Williams is the answer but Joe Allen certainly isn't
