Swansea City: Is time up for Luke Williams after dismal derby day display heightens pressure?

So, Andy la Lola, I’m confused. Are you suggesting that we sack Williams and don’t replace him but essentially run the club by committee, consisting of who? Grimes, Allen, Sheehan and Margetson? Clarification needed if you’d be so kind.

Agree on Toshack but that was 1978, the game in 2025 is different and I don’t actually believe you are allowed to manage without them

Im not slamming anything here just stating that it can’t be done

If we end up going from within if Williams goes then it would be Sheehan
Is Sheehan part of the problem as well seeing as he's on William's coaching staff, Swans need a complete reset in my opinion.

If Williams goes then we need to see the back of Sheehan also.
We need to break all links to Martin and Watson when it comes to the next appointment.

I think my bigger confusion is driven by the notion that we were so good against QPR because of Grimes team talk. Which begs the question as to why he just doesnt do it every game - yesterday would have been good as a example.

He's an integral part of the quorum.

He and Matty know the winning Swanseway, it's inculcated in them, and only them.

We lose Matty and Joey - we lose our last remaining glue to our playing heritage and USP.
Why doesn't grimes turn up every week then?

So, Andrew, it's not so confusing, truly.

I'm not suggesting, I'm saying we should place Williams on gardening leave and in the interim allow the Winning Blueprint team to kick on and thrive, leveraging the very best from our richly assembled assets and up-and-coming talent in the U21s.

Marge & Sheez is the management team (Marge fixed the Defense that Martin broke, Sheez galvanized the troops and created the solidity) injected with a massive dose of our playing heritage through Matty and Joey = essentially the management team quorum (not committee in the way civil servants think of committees). An effective, efficient winning team - off and on the pitch.

It really is that simple.

It worked wonders most recently with a winning Blueprint (QPR) - check out the facts re Set-up, Selection, Team Talks, and execution thereof, with wondrous outcomes - the .Com was rocking, to the Swanseaway tune, again.

(btw - thought you'd do so much better than Andy la Lola - La La Land was the obvious alternative, for a man of your means ?😏)

Whoooosh.

No, just Martin.
No, 100% both would need to go.

Fans need to be united and keeping links to either of Martin or Watson will just carry on the silly antics.

It needs to happen if we are going to at least try from a clean slate......100%>

Personally, I would be appointing Sheehan until the end of the season.

I would then use that time to start to look for and talk with other options. The whole 'blueprint' (assuming we have one) should be torn up..no "Swansea Way" bollocks.

We should be asking potential candidates what their plan is, what they can do to execute it and what they can do to give us an edge over our rivals.

If that's bringing in cultured footballers from sexy football nations and playing a beautiful passing style then great. If that's playing a more industrial type of football with a bunch of players from the lower leagues with high potential, also great.

The only stipulation should be that it's entertaining and achievable on our small budget.
