Swansea City Supporters’ Trust are delighted to announce that following the recent closure of nominations to apply to join the 2025/26 Trust Board the following members have been appointed with effect from 1st August 2025.
Teo Angheben
Dave Dalton
Roger Goodwin
Paul Meller
Rupert Thomas
There were five positions available and as there were five applications received by Monday 30th June there is no requirement to hold an election ballot.
If members and supporters would like to read their supporting statements they are available here>> Trust Board Member Supporting Statements 2025
All will join serving board members Diane Hughes, Chris Golledge, Oliver Meller, Tony Sharpe, Peter Thomas and Howell Williams in forming the Trust Board for the 2025/26 year.
We welcome returning members Dave Dalton, Roger Goodwin and Paul Meller with Rupert Thomas joining the board from his previous co-opted position. We are also pleased to introduce new full board member Teo Angheben for his first term of office.
All will serve for a period of two years and be eligible to stand for re-election in July 2027.
Over the coming weeks we will be updating everyone’s board profiles on our www.swanstrust.co.uk website which will help provide more information for members and supporters.
We were also sorry to learn that Cath Dyer and Adam Lewis decided not to stand for re-election to the full board following their many years of office.
We would like to place on record our utmost thanks and gratitude to them both for their huge amount of time and work dedicated to the Trust over the previous years and wish them well for the future.
On Wednesday 16th July we will be announcing more details of how to apply for one of our co-opted positions for the 2025/26 year. If anyone requires more information, please email me at paul.barrett@swanstrust.co.uk
As we look to the future, we will soon be launching our campaign for membership for the 2025/26 season so please keep an eye out for further email updates and renewal invoices in the coming weeks.
In the meantime current Trust members can sign in to their online account HERE where you can check all your contact details and renewal payment methods are up to date.
If you have any questions regarding Trust membership and/or renewals just email us at info@swanstrust.co.uk
Finally, can I also take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support since I joined the Trust Board back in August 2020. As announced previously I have decided the time is right for me to step away from the role of Trust Secretary once I complete my duties in the next few weeks.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the Trust board and representing our members and supporters over the past five years. Going forward the new Trust Secretary will be Dave Jones and he can be contacted by email at dave.jones@swanstrust.co.uk
