Well..no I'm bloody not !! Apart from a few occasions, the football through Cooper, Martin, Duff, Williams and now Sheehan is pretty much a grind for me.

The sideways, little bit forward, then back, then repeat etc etc is doing my head in. We have no pace (refreshing to watch QPR yesterday), no positive movement, no-one prepared to take on and beat a man (either incapable or afraid) ..and no plan or structure it seems. What is our "best" team ? What's our best midfield. I can't work it out tbh, let alone Sheehan.

Bottom line is I'm just not entertained, I'm bored with our "style", I only attend out of loyalty ...but sod it, I'm going on a sabbatical for a while, starting with Norwich on Saturday, I'll look for something different and probably more enjoyable. See you after Christmas.

Rant over. No wonder crowds are dropping !

Only time we seem to get going is when we're chasing the game.

There are two main things that really stand out for me.

The first is a lack of movement to create options for the player in possession (something which any professional footballer should do instinctively), both in open play and especially when we have a throw in. Everyone stands still, often the wrong side of their marker and the player with the ball has no-one to give it to.

The second thing is a complete absence of urgency in our play. Prime example being when we get a corner. Last night, we had a corner in front of the west stand with about 12 minutes to go and Tymon and Eom were both pointing to tell each other to take it. Eventually, Tymon started walking slowly towards the corner flag, wiping his face in his shirt and took an age to position the ball before overhitting the corner and clearing everyone in the box.

It happens all the time as well when we're losing, no appreciation for the time running out to get back into the game

I tend to separate Sheehan from Williams, Duff or Martin because those appointments were made under a different ownership. The football we played under those managers was often necessitated by our resources and the fact we thought that a project type of manager was the right way to go with the budget we had.

With Sheehan, I think the owners genuinely thought that he’d continue where he left off and that we’d be competing inside the top 10 this season. Sadly it doesn’t look like that will happen now.

It’s times like this the club needs us fans more than ever so I’ll be there.
Other peoples lives have nothing to do with me and they can do what they want though.
I get what you're saying Darran. The only thing though is that in attending - and being frustrated or bored - means it's either a crowd that boos or groans... or one that's silent or sleeping. Neither is good for the team. I was in the North East yesterday and in fairness there were some early attempts from us to encourage the team "Alan Sheean Barmy Army" etc etc.. but the team just weren't responding on the pitch. It works both ways and the crowd needs to see things happening. It's not ! Like T8AD365 says above, there's just no urgency a lot of the time.

I never boo the team as it happens but my sleeping at the ground doesn't help them either. So a temporary sabbatical it is for me..and maybe absence will make the heart grow fonder 😊

I can't speak for others. But the grind of work and mental health, I look forward to match days as a way to forget about my problems. I don't expect to win, but I want to be entertained.

They don't care if we are entertained, they went down the route of a pragmatic manager who will get us points and further up the table.
I argued the point with these people!

2 midfielders running themselves into the ground with a holding midfielder brings no creativity to the team so we will struggle to score goals.
2 holders, one ball playing and the other to break things up coupled with an attack minded 10 turns this team around for me.

Oh yeah AND don't tell them to go out and just concentrate on their shape for the 1st 45mins will also help.

We got promoted to the Premier League in the not too distant past and since being relegated (and perhaps before) we’ve made a series of bad Managerial appointments & signings. The football had gone from entertaining to utter bilge over recent seasons.

When we were on our way up the fanbase grew, we had people coming to the games who had never done so before, even my Mother was talking about the club and she loathes football. The problem we have now that without results or even performances those fans the club gained are unlikely to return & when you have stalwart fans giving it a miss when owning a Season Ticket then we could be in a bit of bother as they are likely to pick and choose games in future over a Season Ticket. I know of plenty who don’t go to some games as they can now watch the games live on TV, be it legally or otherwise. There were times last night that I felt like leaving and it was only the rain that kept me captive!

I only really go to games nowadays due to the social aspect that accompanies it and that saddens me, perhaps the last time I really enjoyed a season with the Swans was under Laudrup. I’ve been a season ticket holder for some 30 years and it’s getting more of a chore to go nowadays and even I’m questioning my own sanity in getting a ticket for next Season. My concern is that if I stop going, I doubt I’d ever return and I can’t be alone in thinking that.

I can’t see the current Ownership accepting this for much longer and when they do pull the trigger the next appointment is crucial & has to be the right one.

Oh flipping heck I knew this would happen.

I was one of the few toe rags suggesting some caution in appointing Sheehan full time and predictably called a twat in process.

I’m not here to point score. Im here to advocate time if you genuinely were advocating for Sheehan to get the job.

This merry go round is ridiculous. Have the courage of your convictions.

For me I never understood the idea of Sheehan getting job FT. I’ve sincerely hoped to be wrong.

You dont get these opportunities often with a club like the swans to invest you need to not just invest in the players but with someone who has pedigree.

Now he’s there he deserves time. 90+% were all for him. Now as ever when things dont turn out we’re back to negativity.

He should get to the end of the season. We can’t keep doing this.
