It’s no coincidence that since they signed Grimes, they’ve gone up another level. Not saying he’s been the main difference but there must be something in it. I was a harsh critic of him down here. We’re now starting to see our current midfielders do what he was doing. Maybe it’s ingrained in the ‘system’ we try to adopt here that reigns them in.

They were 17th and two points above the relegation zone when he took over. Give credit where it's due.

it does make me wonder how many ex players we have in the Championship.

Only one I'd take back from that list is Rushworth, he'd have to settle for a place on the bench though.
