OK so I like many others have I been vocal on why I feel we might go down. I feel little hope but I have to get behind this team irrelevant of what happens and my match day rants will never change. We have all pointed out the managers, recruitment and how the players look like they can't be bothered.

We get it, people on this forum keep banging on about how they told us so. You don't have to repeat it a 100 times.

So instead of seeing the negatives let's see what the positives are and why you think we will stay up.

I'll start. I think we have a better squad than we are seeing (yes I have 0 proof of this and stats say different) and a manager who might be unproven but has potential.

You don't suddenly become a terrible team overnight. What ever went wrong behind the scenes. And yes a few players need to go I think we have some solid players who are massively underperforming.

Positives, it's only November and we've got a transfer window coming up to get reinforcements over the the line.

We've got a new manager who wants to play a different style of football which in principle sounds refreshing to what we've been used.

We have two strikers who can score goals and yes I'm including Idah in that 😉

Im liking this thread already 😂. 100% it's only November. And we do have the players. I'll be 100% transparent on this before people start to have a pop. I like many others are down at the moment. Call it silly but football is my escape from the grind and helps my mental health. But at present I'm just down all the time. This thread as selfish as it is, is to find the positives. I'm the first one to post negative threads im aware of that 👌

Remember the year Villa got promoted they were sitting nicely mid table in March, they went on to win the play offs, a few wins on the bounce like we know these players can do we will be fine.

I agree with @Swans Jack that the squad is better than it is showing at present.

A few tweaks by Matos and his team (when it arrives) and we can easily go on a 3 or 4 game winning run.

@Smurph not sure I can agree that Idah will score goals but would be delighted should he prove me wrong. Despite showing nothing Benson is a player who could turn things around just need to get him playing like he did for Burnley under Kompany.

Currently 9 points away from 10th position which Wrexham are in. Get 2 wins and then win against them and we can climb up. In next 4 matches in my opinion we should be winning at least 3. And if not 2 wins a draw and a loss. Minimal 7 points out of 12 for me. But should be 9 out of 12.

We saw a peek a glimpse be that only 15 minutes and yes we need to do this far, far longer in a match what Matos wants. Old habits kicked in and the result was what it was. But excluding a few players the rest I feel can do far better.

I know what you mean about Idah and I'm pinning my hopes on him based on what I've seen him do at Celtic.

Also agree about Benson, I think he could do a job.
