Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere.

I heard today (on the *excellent* Jackcast podcast) that Ronald hasn't completed a cross in 12 games.

TWELVE GAMES.

I am glad this sort of stat is being brought up more often re Ronald, because it seems that his first half a dozen or so appearances for the club - where he was half decent - still seem to hold a lot of sway with people.

The reality is he's a very unproductive player, and for someone who plays that position that is a real problem.

For some unknown reason I have stuck up for Ronald. But if that's true with stats. That is shocking. It's funny as he was leading the assists and was second on goals at start of season. It's difficult with who to play. But surely Inoussa will add more. He did on the weekend.

Managers since he's been here have tended to use him a lot. Not sure why. He looked absolutely mustard when he first arrived, but has flattered to deceive since. Whilst I can't fault his workrate, he doesn't create enough and goes down far, far too easily. Eom is a much better option out wide, and I'm still far from convinced that he wouldn't be better more centrally anyway.

Inoussa needs a decent run of five or six games to see if he can get up to full speed.

I mentioned this stat in another thread. I saw vital Swansea post it.
It’s absolutely crazy if true but also not surprising at all as I can’t recall him making a cross this season? 👀
