How so? People who have had 2 vaccines are immune from serious infection aren't they? if others exercise their choice not to be vaccinated then they are the ones at risk. I don't believe the nonsense about overwhelming the NHS either.

Except those who have had the jab, whilst probably protected against the worst of it themselves, can still transmit the virus to the unprotected, or vulnerable.

Those who refuse to be vaccinated need to be restricted from mixing with sensible people. If that means passports that prevent plague enthusiasts from travelling, going to events or even just shopping, then so be it.

An interesting article from CNN in relation to vaccines and the benefits.

What other conclusion can be reached? These people are morons.

And yes, everyone eligible for a flu jab should have one.

There are plenty of other conclusions

For every YouTube/News clip you can post from an expert stating their opinion I can post a counter-argument from another expert stating the reverse.

There are millions and millions of experts that have evolved throughout this pandemic, eager to make a name for themselves, YouTube and Google have a lot to answer for :x

From my experience yesterday it still going to be a winter of testing and doubtful to see a doctor if you have flu such symptoms, my wife has Asthma and has been a bit unwell for a few days, phones doctor, no see! off we go for a test, came back negative this morning, so with an estimated rise in Covid due "freedom" and expected rise in colds and flu etc. Docs visits etc still look a no go for a while.

Prof has been pointing out through the pandemic that the vast majority of these 'experts' with the counter-arguments are far from expert on the subject, but you crack on if it makes you happy.

I'm sorry that you believe that and use some emotive language - suggesting those who do not want the jab are not sensible or 'plague enthusiasts' - to back up your belief. How do you think flu is transmitted? By your argument, everyone should have the flu jab, because that has killed far more people than Covid-19 ever will.

Meaningless comparison. Of course flu has killed more, because it's been around for a hundred years! Covid is more easily transmissible and has worse impacts.

Everyone should get vaccinated, it's not clever to think you know better.

Nothing against the prof, but as I have pointed out before, the people who he has a negative view on, have way higher credentials than himself, so IMO what you say, is totally irrelevant.

Except that their "credentials" are'nt worth tuppance as their are not in relevant fields. Would you let a chiropodist do open heart surgery on you?

They are in relevant fields, not all of them, but most.

My point is, the prof is not the world renowned expert on covid, so to say you can't listen to nobody else, seems totally wrong. And to add again, this is not a dig at the prof, just the people who tell you who to listen to, who know not a lot.

But he knows more about the subject than anyone else on here (or the other forum) and he always explains why certain 'experts' are nothing of the sort. Sorry that doesn't fit your view of the pandemic, but I'm fed up with people swallowing nonsense from self-appointed experts just because they are saying what they want to hear. Go far enough down that road and you end up a nutter like A Fan's Dad.

He may well know more about the subject on here than anyone else, my point was he isn't a covid expert, I believe he works with chickens?

And like I said, the people who he goes against have higher credentials in science than him, that does not matter, what does matter is people who have no clue of science saying it's wrong to disagree with what prof says, because he has the highest credentials on a football board :D

And if i were you, I would retract that calling afd a nutter, it's not very nice, and totally unfounded.

Anyway relax and rock ya baby.. :D

Seeing as you seem to know very little about science (as do I), how do you know these people have higher credentials than him?

AFD posts crackpot theories about just about every subject under the sun, he's deep down the loony conspiracy theory path, so nothing needs retracting.

AFD has disappeared up his own database, poor bloke.

“But have you watched the videos?”

And you have sort of answered my question right there, somewhat unwittingly when you say Seeing as you seem to know very little about science (as do I)..

So how can you say anyone is right, and anyone is wrong? I'm just going by gut feeling on this, which I may add, I've had within a few months of march last year..

I applaud anyone that stops and says, hmmm hang on that's not right? You should too..

Anyway i will leave you with this classic
