Make that eight down. This one might be over before Sydney starts.

This is some collapse from 136-2.

Are you back to work yet? I went back today and have been trying to break the habit of not going to bed until 3am. Tonight is looking dodgy.

Tomorrow. Up at 6. Not sleeping well at the moment anyway so I’ll see how it goes.

Catches win matches and that was up there with the best.

Queenstown is great for all the Adrenalin junkie stuff and a good base for the general area, but really busy particularly in high season, but Taranto and Mt Manganui are great for chilling out and just taking it easy and doing your own thing, Queenstown when the sport is in town means the bars and restaurants are jam packed but you can still usually get a meal and a drink, Tuaranga does get full when the big events are in town and getting into bars can be difficult. The beaches around Tuaranga are beautiful and a walk up the Mount is a superb view of the area.

NZ Police are quite strict so no drinking outside the limits of the bar, no drinking of alcohol on streets or beaches etc in Queenstown they enforce that strictly.

Queenstown with the lake in front of you or from the top of the cable car having a meal and a beer is up there with the best spots in the world to unwind.

Bairstow having a go fair play to him, funny to hear Broad's comments aswell, assuming that's a little dig back at Root for when he give the bowlers a hammering in press conference after one of the days in second test?

I thought Bairstow's celebration looked emotional, credit where it's due.

It's guts like this that have been missing from England so far.

He best not make a habit of it

A rather tame and subdued end for Bairstow but let’s be honest, he has taken England far away from what was a horrendous situation on day 3. This is another example of engrossing test cricket, despite the adverse weather yesterday. In fact the rain has probably added an edge to the game as the Aussies now need to hurry along a little. Looks like it’s going to pee down in Wales tomorrow, that means a sofa day and a catch up on the sleep lost tonight.

That’s the hammer my boys! Give nothing

Anyway the cricket is on and Zak Crawley has a half century to his name.

At tea, six wickets in hand, England look capable of gaining a pride-salvaging draw. But the concern as ever is their glass jaw.

Glorious draw. Have that Aussies.

Historical draw. Heroes each and every one of them, should be a few MBEs worth when the next awards are made... ;)

God bless the Australian rain
