I thought EOM was one of the few in white trying to make something happen or do something interesting. Overall it was a decent display against a better (but not anything special) team, but there’s a hall of a way to go before the performance can be called satisfactory. If that were the end product of Sheehan’s ambition for way to play, it’s nowhere near good enough. It’s not the end product though…I hope! With new players and new managers, I think we’re where I would expect overall, but I think everyone would agree we need to see steady improvement between now and Christmas. Not least settling on our best team (with attacking intent) and getting them to learn each other’s play and…shoot.
But we dont have a new manager today was Sheehans 22nd consecutive league game at the helm, he is now in his 3rd season here and also was the "manager/head coach for 4/5 games inbetween Duffs dismissal and Williams appointment...he has been here long enough and workes with the majority of the squad but yes has had a few new arivals most of whom are an uograde from what we had yet today decides to start Cullen ahead of Galbraith or Yalcouye....I guess because he got that goal on Tuesday....
Sheehan is not new to the club so stop.making excuses....just as yes Leicester were a PL team last season so yes they should beat us so lets not focus on the result today many will say.
For me Sheehan is making too many bad decisons re selection and subs....We have seen it time and time again this season
Many have said we dont seem to be playing as we where under Sheehan during that end of season time under him is it becauss as caretaker he had nothing to lose ? Whilst now his head is on the block
We all have our different opinions but the one which matters is our owners I wonder how they might be feeling having invested in players staring with Widdel who is nowhwre to be seen, Bobby Wales and then the addition of Galbraith,Yalcouye,Burgess,Inooussa,Stamenic,Benson and Idah.
After 9 games last season we had won 3 drawn 3 lost 3 scored 8 and conceded 7 and had 12 points.
Tonight after 9 games we have won 3 drawn 3 and lost 3 scored 10 and conceded 10 and have 12 points.
I wonder what they might be thinking.....12 months and money spent yet we are still where we were back then.
He is a nice guy no ego its not about him but unfortuneatley Sheehan is not the right man...Cullen started today bexause he is a favourite and he got a goal off the bench Tuesday but he shouldnt be starting ahead of Galbraith or Yalcouye.
