• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

With the loss to Watford and highly likely we will lose next 2 games, let's not lose our heads and turn on the team.

We can get a few wins and draws and secure safety.

I still beleive we can reach 53 points. I think at least 3 wins and some draws and we can get past the above points.

We need to muster some kind of semblance of control again, like when Grimes was when in situ.

We seem to be all over the shop, all scurry and scrap - which ofc is SO not the Swanseaway.

LOB and Franco both had a mare against better, bigger oppo - and we lost, in spades.

We so need Joey to step in to wrest that control and put our unique stamp on proceedings, again.

2 wins, a draw, a defeat. That defeat coming away at Watford due to a terrible mistake by us, in a game that we created the better chances and deserved at least a point. Hardly time to panic even if the next 2 games go against us.

Franco (despite his error last night) and O'Brien have been at the heart of our resurgence, a colossal improvement on our previous central midfield partnership. Along with Sheehan of course.

Let's not forget that we nearly got a point up in Burnley under Williams, a dodgy penalty call cost us a point.

Tough against a team who have only conceded 11 league goals but I think we can get a point from Saturday.

Who’s playing centre back with Cabango?

I fancy we could get something at home to Burnley. A dour 0-0 perhaps.
At Leeds, we'll be lucky to lose.
I think we'll beat Burnley at home. Can't offer any hope at Elland Road, except they can blow hot and cold and it's after a break. We can't play a high press up there though. They'll kill us if we try that. All hands to the pump behind the ball closing down the space for that one, nice and compact with no room to play between lines.

Oh God, yeah, I'd forgotten. It'll be Kyle or Christie won't it? Optimism bubble burst.
I think Darling will be back. If not it will have to be Naughton. Christie should be nowhere near this team. Hopefully Sheehan had sense and didn't do a Williams where he took Darling to an away game knowing he was unfit. Hopefully Darling has recovered from hip issues ok Saturday.

At the end of the day it's completely in our hands. I think we'll be safe with quite a few games to go as other teams will be losing below us anyway.
But hasn't the football under Sheehan been so much more exciting than the kind of mediocre trash that we've played for years ? The kind offered up with the pivotal Matty.

So unlucky not to get anything yesterday, we will be fine this season!

They looked ok last night. Not great, but ok. Not much upfront, but we know about that; the middle looked tenacious and driven though, which is very new for this season.
