If, as seems increasingly likely, Scotland have another referendum and choose to leave the union, what then happens to the Union Flag?

The blue background and white diagonal cross which forms part of the current flag are from the Scottish saltire of St Andrew so will this be removed?

Wales has never been represented on the Union Flag so will the background be changed to the green and white of the Red Dragon Wales flag or, because the constituent parts of the current Union Flag are from the cross of St George and the saltires of St Andrew and St Patrick, will the background possibly be changed to black to represent the background of the cross of St David?

Would Wales have a referendum to decide whether or not it wants to be represented on a new Union Flag?

Much to be considered but so much for the old red, white and blue bunting, it could end up being replaced by red, white and black or red, white and green

The only guarantee is that it will cost at least 50 million to work it out

It will just be a st georges cross. Keep the draig goch off the shit rag.
