Swanjaxs said:My wife loves Doc Martin, her and her elderly mother visited the village the series is filmed, she said it was absolutely beautiful, she had to leave her mother at the top of the hill though because there were no wheelchairs available for hire and she said she'd be fucked if she was going to give her a piggback up and down

Used to go pretty regularly to White Arce's Caravan and lodges campsite Near Newquay, its more known for its massive fishing complex, brilliant place owned by Parkdean these days, Port Issac is about half hr away.

Quite a surreal story, was the first trip of the Celtic Supporters Club (Swansea) back in 2001, for some reason the person who organised the trip thought it a good idea on a Friday afternoon rather than a all dayer on Sauchiehall Street, 52 of us wandering around a tiny village with no pub for an hour and a half... didn't even get to see Mrs Mack
*edit*
The organiser, Mr Allan Jones (beachball) was an absolute legend RIP

RIP Mr Jones, would have to be a legend to get 52 blokes trampling around a village with no watering hole in sight, bet he had to buy the first round when you eventually got the chance to wet your whistle
