Tbf I’d imagine the ‘scouting/analysis’ side of it has all been completed though and it’s more a case of agreeing terms with clubs and players over the next few months based on the shortlists that have been complied for each position.

But then we’re asking the replacement to work with a target list prepared by the predecessor. Not an ideal situation.

Definitely not ideal, but I’d hope we’re at the stage where the manager has (or is in the process of) signed off on the targets and it’s down to Gorringe to negotiate the deals.

Obviously all clubs work differently, and it will depend who the new appointee is and when they start as well I guess. Watch this space…
