I’d like to think we’ve made enormous progress in only 9 games. Downes looks like a proper Swansea signing and I hope he keeps showing us what he’s capable of. I wasn’t impressed with Patterson to begin with but he’s definitely growing on me. Agree that we need an option in the 10 role and someone with pace for our left hand side.

If grimes doesn’t sign a new deal we need to thank him for his service and get what we can. He’s too good a player to leave on a free.
