Kim Hellberg and Eder Sarabia have been mentioned by someone writing for Football League World online .
Couldn't even tell you who they are. Know absolutely zero about them. Could be good. Could be sh*te.
I'm more in the camp now of giving it to Sheehan - it's clearly working so don't rock the boat.

if he'd won 9 out of 9 you'd still be wanting a proven manager in
It’s not about a “proven” manager.

I’m interested to know what Sheehans ambitions are for building the club from the bottom up.

Is he good at identifying players? Does he have the contacts?

Is the bounce related to brilliant management or simply a buzz returning to dressing room and also at this point in the season many teams start easing off or make mistakes because of pressure.

I always said we’d end up mid table and that’s why I advocated not panicking and appointing someone till end of season.

As I said I bloody hope you’re correct and he’s the man to take us back the prem, rebuild the club not just on the pitch but for the long term. Spend wisely etc.

I’d hate another round of should he go or not by Christmas. I really hope it’s a different story and Sheehan is the man to break the malaise that has been there for a long while now. I am very skeptical.

But let’s see.

He doesn't need to build the club from the bottom up or identify players, that's not the role of the modern day football manager.

Foreign names, they’ll get the juices flowing for some.
I know nothing is guaranteed but who wouldn't want a foreign manager like the ones at Brighton and Bournemouth. I do think Sheehan has done an excellent job stabilising the club , and very recent results have been excellent, but there's been some shocking performances as well, Preston, Burnley and Derby. It really is a difficult one.

Preston haven’t lost a game since the start of November at home, Burnley we’d expect to lose and Derby were on a 4 match winning streak with a new manager which turned out to be a massive win for us, I’ve seen more good than bad with Sheehan but it will be a difficult decision going forward with the board when choosing the next manager, as Sheehan won’t have one set way of playing he’s shown he adapts to how teams set up, rather than a Williams Martin where they play possession ball no matter what.

Some PL clubs have got it spot on with foreign managers. We'd all love the next Basque manager from the production line to come here (seriously, what do they put in the water there?).
But many PL clubs have got it horribly wrong appointing foreign coaches, more so in the Championship where the league is less forgiving.
It all comes down to the candidates experience.
Sheehan has, in two separate stints a) steadied the ship between Duff & Williams and b) got a tune out of the squad LW had to get them achieving results again.
Sheehan, in my book, is a more than capable candidate

Agreed. He'd be part of the overall presentation team to pitch to players, but identifying players or having contacts is what Montague has been brought in for

He's been brought in to execute the deals which is an area where we were badly lacking in January, and windows prior to that. Not identifying.
