• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Hopefully gets sorted quickly.
It can't be argued with that he hasn't deserved the job permanently.

He now needs to be supplied with the right players in the positions that are needed for the new season.

Well deserved and you can see his qualities in the behind the scenes videos.

Rumour mill stating he has admirers in top 6 prem clubs and La liga for a senior coaching role. Appreciate comparisons to clement but I don't think we can lose such a well thought of member of staff

Paul Watson done something good bringing him in.

The abuse that chap had was an absolute disgrace. Franco, eom, vig and to an extent vip look very good signings now
You can't argue that the Mykolo, Pedersen and Tjoe a On signings have been dreadful.

The idea you're always going to pick winners is ridiculous...unless you're Peter Taylor.

That said, Pedersen is unforgivable and not just because of injury.

Spot on; but nobody deserved the abuse he had in that fans forum. Bloke was just there doing a job ffs

Apart from Pedersen did the other two get a fair crack of the whip?
Probably not.
Pedersen on his wage should never have happened.
Mykolo has shown in his loan spell at Hibs that he likely going to be out of his depth at this level.
We are now on a 3rd manager who hasn't used Tjoe a On.

The showing with us has hardly been fair to the lads granted but the bigger picture doesn't give a good view.

That was down to the link with Nathan Jones.
Writing was on the wall unfortunately even if he deserved it or not.

He took the stick but ultimately it should have been the ones who appointed him especially after it was discovered he wasn't behind the Luton signings.

How much a week is he on?

That was unforgivable for sure.

You could argue the majority of our squad weren't capable of playing at this level until Sheehan took charge.

It seems some folk are underestimating the level of intent, drive and ambition of our new owners and best-in-class recruitment apparatus. Some are choosing to deflect, undermine.

Luka is the massive statement, the catalyst for proper change, the real watershed moment right now. The past few weeks have elevated us onto another Next level already - Luka, Hellberg (et al), layered onto LOB, Widell, HD (and the two proper gems that slipped through the net last minute). A (Swan)Sea change, in so many ways......

Sheez is clearly now Plan C, at best, as per.

Sheez and his Quorum did a massive job of cleansing us from the stink of Martin and his Willy. He did what Duff was expected to do. We now deserve more.

Plan A has to be aspirational, to get us back to the leading edge with our unique Swansea Edge at the vanguard yet again. Build upon the massive layers of funding, best-in-class recruitment and ambition already demonstrated in spades.............

Keep up folks........exciting times, dynamically evolving....
Seems Sheehan was Plan A all along.
