Defo. Just watching how they interact with the players on match day and during training shows a group who clearly know what they are doing. It's a distant memory from Williams, who always seemed to be the only one speaking to players, when he could be bothered. I stand by that Sheehan and Co had little influence on the team during his tenure. Well results shown it.

It was telling how they were drilling the players on certain situations, exact situations which came up in the games ahead (like the drills for long throw defending while 1-0 up) - also it was impressive to see them congratulating players just as much for their defensive actions as their offensive ones.

When the Hull player scored to make it 2-1 I could see that Vigouroux was pissed, he punched the floor in frustration that they had managed to break his clean sheet run. Honestly I don't think he could be faulted even if it was at the near post, it was one of those miracle hits which went high and hard, pinged off the inside of the post and in

Aside from the fact that Tymon lost concentration it was a really good goal and there aren't many who could prepare for shot like that. Also it great to see the team being more tactical. Something I have noticed since Williams has gone is there seems to be more street smart with situations. For instance simple things like make substitution for a player when he is down so that we can replace and doesn't leave us short on the field.

Hellberg was my preference, but only marginally so. Sheehan is a lower risk appointment given that he's shown he can get a tune out of the team and has extensive knowledge of the EFL.

The big challenge ahead for Sheehan is maintaining our superb defensive form should O'Brien (probably) and Darling (50 50) leave. It's highly unlikely that any O'Brien replacement will be as capable, not from the beginning anyway.

I'm confident of a mid table position next season at least, but we could challenge for the playoffs with good squad additions. Automatic promotion is unlikely, but not out of the question.

I'll be the sensible one in the room. You cannot start turning on Sheehan based on today. Granted VP and Allen should of come on and Ronald had another off day. But VP could of scored from his cross, Cullen could of scored. Even Eom today. Millwall was super physical, and had everything to play for. Let's not lose our heads.
