Andy Coleman – You’re in charge of a disaster waiting to happen

The point isn't his "intentions".

If it was about that, Eddie The Eagle would have won the Olympics.

This is a question of competence, and qualifications to do the job.

As the article from Rob correctly points out, Andy Coleman knows nothing about football, but he's the one at the wheel making all the big football decisions. And the fool has just pulled the plug on bringing in someone who is far more likely to know what they're doing.

It's a pretty catastrophic state of affairs for the club. It isn't an exaggeration to be talking about League One, if he gets the next managerial decision wrong, that is where we're heading.
Really good observation. I have best intentions in the world to do my job, but if I cannot d it then what do I bring. I suppose I look at things in a different way sometimes, but your right. No argument here.

Don't get dragged in mate is all I will say. Levien and Kaplan "were invested" in the Swansea way of life at one point ☝️
Americans aye 😁
And that's why I should not be running the club. Sweet whispers in my ear and the club would be in the shitter. I'll be hiring the cleaner as my next manager just cos he said he loves the Swansea way. Joking aside. I get your point. 👍👍👍

I have to admit I fear the worse that Nero Coleman fiddles while Swansea burns. He is the epitome of trying to be a jack (ironically!) of all trades, and a master of none.
He seems to make a complete bollocks of everything he touches.
The Latest being his complete U-turn on talks with Gareth Jennings, regarding the sporting director role.
His lack of negotiator skills with other clubs in the transfer market, is probably making us a laughing stock in all the boardrooms around the country
His previous diatribe about targets in place for the transfer market, have proved to be yet more total bollocks.
I have a grave foreboding in the pit of my stomach, that with this jerk of a chairman in charge, plus not sacking the hapless Williams after the 5-1 collapse at Norwich, we are looking very much like relegation fodder.
I thought it was impossible that I’d ever say this, but he’s shaping up to be even worse than Kaplan and Levien, at running a professional football club

Fair enough mate. That's what this is all about. But personally I don't think any normal person who is a millionaire would move there family and invest time and money into the club, and one that will lose you money, is someone who doesn't care. Again, all opinions. I am not saying I am pro Coleman for life . I'm just stating I think his intentions are there.
He probably cares. He’s totally clueless but he probably cares

Does Coleman go to every home match? Any one notice him there?

There’s an American contingent The Railway before matches fairly often. I’m not sure which of the owners/investors go (I’ve only heard about it not seen them), but it sounds like they’re making some effort to engage.

I do agree that he cares, but what we need at this precise time is a Birch type chairman, not a clueless one like Andy Coleman.
I cared about what was happening with the NHS around the "covid period", my old man was in at the time. I wouldn't have been any good at being in charge of the problem though. Pretty simple really. We all care about our club, moreso than any chairman since the days of Sharpe (not mentioning Huw after how it finished) , but we'd be shit as chairman.

He's the cause of the approaching disaster, the guy is clueless.
These new American owners of ours.

Anyone heard them say, or mention anything about us since the pumped all thier millions into us?

One of them paid for a new roof on a chappel somewhere in mid Wales because his grandma was born there

Another owns the tallest hotel in the world.

Impressive.

God Bless America 🇺🇸
It was said that they put millions into the club, pocket change is more like it.

I don’t mind that to be honest. I’d rather he got on with trying to fix things than placate us with some empty words about how many potential signings we’ve enquired about unsuccessfully.
He's probably got a tummy bug and taking a few days off.

This is what's so dangerous when one person is in charge of everything...
