Swansea City: Andy Coleman has much to answer for right now

A fair few suggestions here, and mostly sensible. It occurs to me that these questions could be crafted into an open letter to Coleman to see if he responds.

So if you had one question to ask Coleman, what would it be? Mine would be to ask him to tell us exactly how the scouting process works, and specifically what is his approach to succession planning in the squad?
Only question I'd ask is what time his is flight is back to the good old US of A.

You can just see LW with these additions will be given far more time to put this right.

Coleman just about (and only barely at that) gets benefit of the doubt and a free pass from me for this window. By all accounts he has been trying to recruit a director of football and what I have read he has found one but he has to work notice until like March or so.

That means that Coleman since ousting Levein and Kaplan has had to deal with player recruitment, director of football recruitment, player sales as well as all the other day to day stuff that his job would normally entail. From what I can see (and Williams's last interview sounded like someone expecting the boot) the only reason it hasn't happened yet is because he wants to focus on closing out the transfer window first and will then clean house after that.

If the expectations hold up and we get in Wright and O'Brien and follow that up by sacking Williams after that then I would be accepting of that. If the rumours of Morris et al having their own man in mind to take over as manager is true then even better, if he can't take over now then get in an experienced hand on a short term contract to steady the ship and see us through to the summer.

If the new director of football does also come to fruition and starts work end of March then he has three months to get his feet under the table, establish his recruitment team and strategy and liaise with the new manager so that we can hit the summer running.

I think he might be hoping that any new signings help us through to the summer, even with LW in charge.

Obviously everything is doom and gloom at the moment but we've still got some breathing space. He can probably afford to give LW another few games before pulling the trigger. We could probably lose the next 4 games and still have a bit of a cushion on the drop zone.

Imo if we can, somehow, get some points asap, we can reconsider things in the summer.
