Noticed a lot of booing when the teams took the knee.
Extremists infiltrating.

The Union Jack flags are shjt, just get rid of them, all the stone island loyalist idiots that fly them would not be missed either.

I’ve got no problem with Union Jack flag even though I don’t associate myself with it, our soldiers go to war under that flag to fight together (even though most of the wars I don’t believe in). What I do have a problem with though is the loyalist flag. What has this got to do with Swansea city. If that is what they want to support go up north and support Rangers against Celtic. Ruined the day and these idiots need to get out of our club

I agree with this. I would never use the Union Jack out of choice. I'd certainly never use it at a football match. I don't associate myself with it whatsoever.

I can appreciate that we are British by default with being Welsh. But the Union Jack is a separate issue in my eyes. I associate it with everything i don't believe in politically - the tories, the right-wing and pro-Brexit. Not even mentioning that it's got racist connotations, rightly or wrongly, as it has been hijacked by the far-right. The whole Loyalist nonsense seems to go hand in hand and that red hand of ulster flag should never be seen at Swans games. We have nothing to do with Northern Ireland.

The issue seems to be that the latest lot of Union Flag wavers are doing it to wind other fans up. I can't get my head around that, but that's the way it appears on social media at least.

I would add that I do understand those that are ex-forces or currently serving, would see the Union Flag as something of a badge of honour. I get that. It's not my bag but I do understand it as I have family that are in the forces.

It was meant about gays, but I think that the bloke is a bit naïve.

Exactly. Wankers.

there were a couple of well known Swansea based fascists in east stand upper at today’s game. I recognised them from footage id seen online of a wdl march a few years ago.

Yeah, that seemed exactly what was going on. Maybe there was something that triggered it that I'm not aware of. But the issues that lead to the confrontation were off the back of deliberately winding up fellow Swans fans and calling them out for a fight. Odd and sad behaviour. He did look about 18 though, so probably hasn't had his balls drop yet. Maybe he'll grow up one day.

And what's ironic about that is if I bet if you asked these types of they're against the knee and why they'd boo it, they'd reply with something about keeping politics out of football...... While holding flags with sectarian slogans on them

Twitter is on fire about this issue tonight. It’s very funny. Some fella just described the loyalist flag waving swans fans as trying to turn us into a “BTEC Rangers” which really tickled me.

Do the guys with the Ulster flag come from Northern Ireland and support the Swans, or are they local Welsh guys who are trying to make a political point by using the flag?
