• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Which one was the raving alcoholic who smashed into a car and had to be dragged out of his vehicle by concerned members of the public to await the old bill to book him in?

You should be so unforgiven SJ, as you know I am an admitted pisshead, and the times I have woken up regretting what I have said or done, is nobody's business, count yourself lucky you do not have the pisshead affliction, And I mean that genuinely.

Been there kid, I was an alcoholic in my late 20's for five or so years, not a pisshead like you, lost many friends and probably the love of my life at the time, nobody wanted to be around me, so no mate, as the saying goes, walk a mile in my shoes before you judge aye...

Hope you cure your pisshead "affliction" before its too late btw kid 🙏

Thanks SJ, I'm getting there a little bit now, started skipping the beer for a couple of weeks at a time.

Give it a 14 day miss till yesterday, umm the thing I'm finding is, I really do not know to with myself, basically once I'm off it for a few days I can't relax, just constantly looking for jobs to keep me busy..

At least your honest about your personal issue , truth be told a lot of people struggle with addiction of sorts and without releasing their feelings things spiral , good on you .

I like a drink myself but am lucky can I control it , added to the fact I could lose my driving licence .

Your probably not alone when it comes to the demon drimk , many will not admit it .
Oh heck , my halo has slipped :D
