• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Meanwhile..

"Qatar World Cup ambassador Khalid Salman has said that homosexuality is "damage in the mind".

The former Qatar international told German broadcaster ZDF that LGBTQ+ people attending the tournament should "accept our rules".

Im confident there's going to be big problems over there with supporters during the month.

The whole thing is just vile, I'm down to watching Wales games only and that makes me somewhat disappointed in myself. There will definitely be a feeling of missing out while its going on, but I'll get over it.

They'll be everyone's friend whilst the tournament is on , then they'll just carry on being cvnts when it's over.

As much as I strongly disagree with their approach to homosexuality, alcohol, etc...part of me does think, FIFA agreed to host it there knowing the Qatari laws - people going there will have to respect it. The Western world going there now and telling them how disgusted they are isn't going to do much, if anything.

If everyone is so against their way of life, it shouldn't have been voted for to host in the first place.
