Azeem Abdulai today for Orient

His goals have all come from the centre

He certainly wasn’t playing as a chalk on his boots left winger. He was the left-most attacker for his second, but seems to be very mobile and playing across the front line, and also pushing up into space created by the CF. And he can finish.

They look a good team with lots of movement and interchange, but also good understanding between the players. Him and Donley seem to be on the same page already. He looks 10x the player he was here, which probably highlights how badly we are tactically and on the ball (the same happened with Whittaker under RussBall, which is the same as WillyBall).

Seems like a lot of people have seen that BBC lineup and just assumed "winger".

Like a lot of others it seems pretty clear to me that he was all over the pitch and certainly not restricted to the flanks like he was here.

None of us were given the opportunity to see that he could play football. He looked crap here in our ‘system’. I feel sorry for the lad, annoyed for us but also happy for him he’s somewhere he can develop and show what he can do.

Ronald’s probably better than Ronaldinho, but we’ll never fkn know 😂

Posted earlier that he wasn't playing left wing as such, more on the left of midfield.
His 1st goal saw him come in on the left side from a quick switch from the right.
His 3rd goal saw him on the left, play went yo the overlapping full back as it looked to me and he made the run to get into the box to get on the end of the cross.

I would agree that he wasn't playing as a line hugging left winger but was certainly left attacking midfielder with a bit of freedom.

It's hard to say if we have made a mistake with him, hopefully the lad goes on and does well but let's not forget that it gets easier lower down the leagues......even Luke was getting his Notts County team pushing the play offs in L2 and got a lot of points his team battled it out with Wrexham in the conference.

The BBC lineups are a complete joke. I’ve seen absurd ones for the Swans in the past that don’t even bear a passing resemblance to reality.

looking at that 3rd goal........weve cocked up again ..its the Swansea way.
The one where he has come in from the left, where the right back has followed him?
Allowing the big space for the Orient left back to hit, opposition right back who has followed Abdullai is now breaking his back to get to the Orient left back........Abdullai just hits the box hoping for something to come his way from the cross and boom he gets his hat trick.
