Bale to Cardiff

The best quote is the first one. How could Bale not see that this was his chance to 'become a true Welsh Legend'. It's not like any of us in Wales give a toss about his performances for our country, it's all about his playing a few games for a tinpot club in their 'famous blue'...

I'm in bits here.

I was going to post something similar 🤣 what famous blue? I wonder if this will affect the atmosphere at Wales games now, obviously fans of Swansea/Newport/Wrexham etc won’t give a shit but seeing as the capital city club always have a huge following at Wales games (apparently), will they now not join in the Viva Gareth Bale song? 🤣 I was hoping this would happen because the meltdown now is f*cking fantastic!

So bale has decided to continue his footballing career and not just go somewhere for a few months and retire after the world Cup , good for him but it must increase the chances of an injury causing him to miss the world cup , lets hope not

I think there was far more chance of him picking up an injury playing championship football

We will never know now , but I doubt he would have played much for Cardiff , that was not the aim of him going there , just a short term deal to enable his world cup appearance , this MLS deal looks different , he will be expected to participate far more I would have thought

If he was going to Cardiff, he was going to be their highest paid player. He wouldn't have been in charge. He'd have had to start any game he was fit enough to start for them, and they'll play three games a week. The intensity of those games wouldn't have been ideal for him, and he's the only real player in there side who can take a man on so would be getting targeted every week.

In the MLS, the tempo's a lot slower, and there isn't many mid week fixtures.

Think with USA being in the same World Cup Group as Wales somebody in the America will be ready to do him and put him out of the Welsh side,

That's just speculation there are no details about what kind of deal it would have been , do you really think he would have played 3 games a week ? Going to Cardiff only made sense if it was on his terms and a short term thing with probable retirement after the world cup , now that he had decided he wants to continue his career properly its not surprising he has gone to the MLS

Good point , if he is playing against teams with current USA players in the team he will have to be carefull, if he is going to get injured lets hope its an early game and he recovers just in time for the world cup

Pretty much all of the USA players play over in Europe… I think they could top of the group and be one of the surprise packages of the tournament.

Unlikely, they were pretty poor during qualifying

Look at Canada, who came top of the standings, for a real surprise package

Some of the highlights:

Very hard to move on..I for one was adamant he was coming here. A chance to become a true Welsh Legend. Aw well im off to get rat ars**. Welsh FA should step in and say all players must play in UK. Nevermind eh. Cmon Rambo.

Money grabbing c**t,how is going to MLS going to help his fitness for WC. Hope he never has the chance ever again to wear the famous blue of Cardiff. If the welsh FA ask can he train with us they tell him to fu#k off

JUDAS BALE - money money money

Let's say his contract comes to an end with LAFC next year and we get promoted (long shot I know)

I can see his agent being straight on the phone ££££££

Next season or the season after he will be that much older and slower and we may not want him.

He can have all the money he wants, but he will never be able to tell his kids / grandkids that he played for his hometown club.
Hiss loss..

100% right money is everything to a man who is worth 200 million plus. He cannot play for his City because his greed knows no bounds piece of trash.

Bale is a judas! All about the money to him could of capped off his career with his hometown club but chose the money instead !

signs with la until december to get fit and playing in a warm climate
in preperation for the world cup
then comes home and sign for us in january until the season end when.he retires

If this a huge cock up the supporters should all get together and stage a walk out on a match day and show their discuss at the way the club are treating the support they hope to get

Not much school in them quotes is there.

Seen a few of them saying “he’s past it anyway”🤣 the f*cking bitterness towards him is brilliant! I’m sure they’ll be bouncing around their caravan when he scores at the World Cup.
