• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Nope. Bung sausages in air fryer. Turn on air fryer. 15 minutes later, et voila, perfectly cooked sausages.

They may be cooked, but do they taste nicer than when cooking from a frying pan? I am not convinced, I mean some people like bacon cooked in the microwave, or even eggs. IMO that is horrid, and the food is bland, and does the said foods no justice whatsover, but i gues it all depends on your pallet/taste.

That's cool. I wouldn't mind hearing the pepsi challenge over this.

It must be surely down to preference .. Apart from opinions, which is the better cooked for taste. For me it's the frying pan all day long..

But you’ve never tried the air fryer way. So you don’t know.

Of course I have, as mentioned previously when I said the wife using an air fryer, seems to be hit and miss. I'm unsure of the point you are making, so all I can say is that, if the chips are not as nice from being deep fried, why would I encourage sausages to be air fryed.

So as I said, you’ve never had sausages cooked in an air fryer so you don’t know.

Thinking of it, I may have once. :D

It's all down to preferred tase, I think and it's as simple as that.

I'd gobble up sausage boiled in a wellington boot, the king of the working class food imho.
But air fried is the dogs nutsack.

Here speaks a Penlan boi 😎

I heard that you were a gobbler :o

It was a joke, stop hitting me!

Without wishing to go all evangelical on yo asses the versatility of an air fryer is a wondrous thing.

Though it doesn't half spew stuff out the back and up my walls.

Rib eye steak, horse radish mash and chantenay carrots eaten with Thatcher's Gold. Opening a bottle of sauvignon blanc all to myself being opened in about 30 seconds. :)

What a cracking tip, Steve, horseradish mash. I've had half a jar of horseradish cream sauce hanging round in the fridge for a couple of weeks after a roast beef dinner, didn't know what to do with it.
Did mashed spuds tonight, mixed the horseradish in with a knob of butter, salt and pepper, served with the fantastic chunky tinned tuna they do here, plus steamed french beans. Washed down with a chilled white from Valdepeñas, a Verdejo and Airén blend, on offer at my local Aldi for (eat your hearts out, boys) €1.99 a bottle.
Bluddy lush.

All you sausage freaks need to get down to M&P's Motorcycle cafe, Mrs had Sausage, Egg and Chips down there at lunchtime, the breakfasts look decent as well, cheap as chips as well, she had 3 sausage 2 eggs and chips, she said the eggs were perfect :D

Watch the date on the Horseradish Sauce Pegs, it does go off, once jar is opened to atmosphere.

What's the wine called, love a drop of White Wine

Under the grill for sausages.

But I haven't tried an air fried sausage either, but funnily enough we were discussing them in work this afternoon.
