• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out. You can read more at the link below https://jackarmy.net/2026/04/22/jackarmy-net-twenty-five-years-and-out/

Best of both worlds for me this afternoon - and congrats to Vitor: is he changing the culture ?

Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely delighted we won today.

But I had a stress-free and frustrated-free afternoon for a change, as I'm on a self imposed sabbatical from the Stadium till after Christmas - as I could no longer bear the sideways etc "style" of football and lack of commitment/ passion.

So today I sort of had the best of both worlds. A good walk with the dogs, only permitting myself a half time and full time look.

Then reading the comments here, an improvement in commitment especially it seems - and of course a first set-piece goal and a Tymon worldie.

Glad you guys who attended today, enjoyed it (for a change).

Is Matos' ethos coming through do you think ?

There was definitely more intensity without the ball. Players were sprinting to close people down today, not the usual half arsed jogging, actual sprinting, busting a gut.

If we can do that consistently, we will be ok.

It's clear the fitness levels of the players Under Sheehan was shocking. You could see us losing steam in second half, but good subs and we got over the line. It's a nice change to have a weekend less stressful and try and enjoy the moment. I won't predict the result on Tuesday, but it would be nice if we can do back to back wins.

This isn't some unexpected consequence of Brexit. It's precisely how it's meant to work. Get rid of free movement between nations so that British companies have to employ more British people. That's what a lot of people voted for.

Eom was outstanding - something I didn't ever think I would state. Overall a 200% improvement on previous games.

Happy
I have been one of his fiercest critics but he was fantastic on Saturday . If Matos has got him believing in himself (and some others) then he’s doing a great job already

Its attention site to detail makes it a standout choice for online entertainment.

Honestly, it really does feel like something is finally starting to click under Matos. You can sense a bit more intent and energy, even just from the way people are describing the performance today. If the players keep showing that level of commitment, I think we might actually be turning a corner.
