Good to see proper football defeating dinosor ball with the tiki taka of Bielsa bamboozling Allardyce's ninetieth century effort. Makes you wonder what might have been doesn't it?

Hell of a win tonight no matter what way you look at it

What if Hola had really meant just that!

We did get a manager who also couldn't speak English though
And that was all they had in common

And when we replaced him with an English first language manager, things went further down hill!

Good manager was Guido, treated absolutely shabbily

Sorry. As much as I love Bielsa I am not having Frankie dissed.
A true gent who did a fantastic job steadying a sinking ship and was disgracefully treated for his efforts.

He was more than that.

The worst early fixture list ever (still), a squad he didn't know, almost certainly told to take it careful and not lose too many games. then he starts turning the corner and is sacked, by conference, in the hotel he is still living in without warning of the event...and he leaves, leaving kind words/love for all the fans and residents of Swansea and the peninsular.

Wonderful man.

You missed out the bit about it being his birthday

Many games under Guidolin were so dire they were pitiful.
He might have been a very man and possibly deserved better but most of the football was utter shit.
The revisionism is bizarre.

He kept us up comfortably in his first season with midtable beyond what was expected, and the start of his second saw what was probably the most difficult run of fixtures we faced in the Premier League. As we turned the corner and started putting in good performances he was sacked, by phone, on his birthday... He possibly deserved better!?

For dire, pitiful and utter shit see Clement, (end stage) Monk and Bradley

Many games under him were equal to anything under Clement,Monk and Bradley, dire shit.

By all means, and mutually agreed at the time, it wouldn't have worked out here for him, he would have told Jenkins what for within 2 minutes of his feet touching the concrete.

We've had many shit games under all of our managers, even Saint Brendan.

You have to look at the situation when he came to us. Curt on the verge of a nervous breakdown and Jenkins proclaiming no one wanted to manage us.
Then look at whet he did to the side. He was also being talked up for the Italian job.
IMHO we would have not gone down if we had kept him and he had support from the ownership. Rather than being treated in the most shabby way for a replacement who did not know his ass from his elbow.

I don’t need to look at anything I’m saying the standard of football in many games was utter bilge and I’m saying it because it was.
