He was sitting in Row U, so you can imagine how far he fell, and how lucky he was that he didn’t take a tumble on the steps themselves and roll down.I know a regular on here who sits in row T, I hope it's not him.
The way he negotiated the fall was quite impressive and, if you’d put a cape on him, you’d swear blind he was going to take off like Superman.
I’m sure that the people who broke his fall weren’t to pleased with being grabbed from behind initially, but I’m assuming that, having assessed the situation, that they were probably glad that he didn’t injure himself as badly as he could have been had they not been there.
Something needs to be done about how treacherous those steps are, and there’s no other solution that I can think of apart from installing railings in the centre of them.
Unless of course, the club would like to fork out on some jet packs for the attendees?
