I think we can only ever expect them and Watford to win now, and actually try and get our own act together. Unless we up our game (or continue to dog out the games with sufficient lucky support from whatever angel is watching over us - which I can't believe is possible for 12 games) they will be well ahead come crunch time I think.

I just hope we can crank it up again now, and haven't fallen into the idea that playing as we are will magically make things turn out ok. It might, but it would need enormous good fortune.

The big hope for me tonight is the shit pitch. There won't be much football played on that.

It's a tough game for Brentford. I thought we would struggle there - and we did to be fair.

Tough pitch + few Blackburn players back. Brentford have had a good rest which will benefit them, but I have a the feeling it will be a draw which would go down just fine in my book. Looking forward to watching it.

Blackburn should be higher. The squad with Dack, Gallagher, Armstrong and Elliott with the experience of Downing etc is definitely top 8
