Again, I wish to thank you all so dearly for these lovely comments and stories. Its heart warming to know how very highly thought of he was and still will be for years to come.
We have been inundated with visitors and could probably open our own florist! Now that the visits are trailing off and my children return to school, I will be sitting down with my parents and reading out all these lovely stories to them.

We have the dreaded task now of planning james' funeral and I would like to have your blessings to have some of these lovely words read at the service.

Thanks again everyone xxx

I'm sure all posters would give you blessings, and honoured that some of their words and memories will be used at the service

Take care

Absolutely gutted to hear the news about James and taken a while to comment. A really top lad that spent time with our family in Carlisle as well as being a work colleague. So many laughs and stories but he had some dark times too. RIP my friend and sincere condolences to you family. Gone too soon and will be sadly missed.

Like numerous other contributors to this thread, I rarely post on here, but I’m a frequent visitor, so am ‘familiar’ with the characters on this site and Blaze was clearly respected and a good pal to quite a few of you. Having waved goodbye myself, to a family member just last week, I’m aware of the sense of loss, so just wanted to pass on my condolences to all those who loved Blaze and lost him. He’ll be at peace, now.

Didn’t he want to learn to drive a helicopter? 🤣
