Boris's house party

If he wants people jabbed quicker then he needs to get vaccines to places that are easier to get to than at present.
Some people live miles away from nearest covid test centres/vaccination centres.

Why? Genuine question. 👍
Well for what we know of this new variant, yes it's more transmitable, however, it is less deadly if that the right word, also I believe it's a B variant which is not as bad, just wondering why press the panic button. What with a good roll out of the current vaccine and boosters going well. Just saying.🤔👍

They won't know the severity of the infection for another week or two yet I'd say. Fingers crossed that we get good news from that.

A very strong message. Some of the English protocol being aligned to what’s already in place here in Wales, and an accelerated booster deployment programme. We need to now see how that translates here in Wales in terms of speed, am I right in thinking that we currently need the nod from NHS Wales to get jab #3?

Yup, invite only here up to now. Wife had her third week before last.

My wife has been doing the clinics. She just laughed and said who the f**k is going to give all these? They are all worn out and fed up with promises and thanks.

I hope it will happen, but I doubt the arse has assessed the genuine feasibility. Just wanted a big announcement and will no doubt blame the NHS should it fail.

I had a text message and a letter saying when my 3rd jab was.
I had to rearrange it. I did this via email and instead of getting one date and time I got given a list of vaccination centres with loads of different dates and times.
I really feel the governments should try to visit workplaces as well as expecting us to go to centres.

I’m pretty confident it’s announcement first and then just a “now get it done” message to the poor fuckers who actually have to make it happen. That’s usually how it goes with this lot.

“ 42 military planning teams across every health region, standing up additional vaccine sites and mobile units, extending opening hours so clinics are open seven days a week with more appointments early in the morning, in the evening and at weekends, and training 1000s more volunteer vaccinators”, Johnson said.

All completed by the end of December. With Christmas and parties in between, as he darent cancel anything now. Rightio.

Oh and she’s just asked, would you want to be injected by someone from Tesco, or someone like me or you! Oh well, let’s see I suppose. The intention is laudable, whatever the motivation for it.

Will people listen to Johnson?
Most people want Xmas out of the way before they'll entertain any "firebreaks" or chasing up booster.
Black Friday is the focus for many of the "headers" in this country and of course businesses.

Ah yes, but then he can blame us, not him.

Its a pity mind that Billions weren't pumped into the NHS years ago. Oh and that we weren't properly prepared for any Pandemic.
And more importantly we didn't close our borders early doors, hindsight Eh! Hang on it's not about hindsight it about negligence and sheer downright fookin clownery. Rant over.

Not sure. I think the dead cats are no longer bouncing. That said I believe that labour half want the lying turd to limp on to the next election. I think that’s a mistake, and I see Starmer is now calling for them to get shot of the shambling clown. The by election will seal his fate next week if it does go against the cons. He has Cardiff City levels of cockroachery, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him survive it all.

Labour want him gone. He’s a unique politician and the rest of the Tory front bench is dross.

People think Rishi is hot sh*t. Let’s see how long that lasts when he cranks the austerity dial up to 11.

Could see the downfall of RIshi Sunak coming from space.

There's a never ending line of absolute cack taxis waiting on the rank. Thick Lizzie's Thatch tribute up next.

And he's even more cockroachy than a cockroach.
