Over the years I've been scratching my head as to what I think of their ales.
Yesterday I had a rare day off and sampled "Let the dragon Roar"
It's a 4.5% pale ale
I was very impressed.

On keg was it Dicky?

I assume it was a 9 gallon cask , the barman at the Worm's Head had to draw off over a pint before he could give me a full pint.
I didn't complain about waiting as it was lovely.

So pleasant to sit outside as well.

I've long given up on Boss Brewery as I felt that they never knew which way they were heading, they abandoned Cask beers and that finished it for me, good news if they are going back down the Cask Road though.

Just finished a keg of Perfect Draft Spaten Lager, it was tidy enough, but I'm not a lager drinker, I like a San Migel, the Madri and the Moretti and that's about it.

I wasn't impressed with their ales in the Copper Bar by Swansea Castle pre lockdown.
However this is a nice little drop.

They do a few nice ones, however they're a bit too enamoured of the "craft ale" nonsense which usually results in numerous variations of IPA, all of which taste like you're taking a bite out of a bouquet of flowers.

BeerRiff have the same problem.

I found their ales in the pub all very much alike.
I often wonder about whether the younger staff had the right barrels connected to the taps.

Got a keg of Goose Islands Midway on the go here, bit to citrusy for me, got a keg of La Virgen 360 pale ale here as well but its not chilled, I've had it before and its nice.

Perfect Draft got an Italian draft out now, that may be nice, but I'm not a fan of lagers generally.
