It’s funny what missing out on promotion can do to a team mentally... their fans think that Pontus Jansson looks like he no longer wants to be there, Dalsgaard looks shot and Mbuemo looks a shadow of the player he was last season.

Raya and Benhrama’s heads have been turned and want out, hence not in the team at present... things are not looking great for them.

Maybe when the window closes they’ll sort their heads out but it’s a big maybe.
youre right but Leeds missed out in brutal circumstances two years ago and then stormed the league last season. so it’s not always like that

i have an open mind about it but i’m not going to write them off after 4 games.

How sensitive can you be to still be upset about their coach making a comment? They're going to be very good this season, especially if they can hold onto the rest of their players. I'd top them for top 2 if they don't lose Benrahma.

Listen up mate.

Before you play the "how sensitive" card, rewind your mind...

The mug basically cried like a baby after we beat them at the Lib, he came across as a grade 1 🔔 end ...

He disrespected MY CLUB on every level.

If you can't see why WE should hold a grudge against the greasy little gypo then your following the wrong club ...

Get my drift 👍🇺🇲

It's "thier manager" this side of the pond btw yank 👍

I’ve actually always liked Brentford as a club, a real club with with real fans who over the last few years have played great football and gone about things the right way, and have had a lot of likeable players... but that manager, what a disrespectful arrogant tool.

Their fans don’t seem to think they’ll get top 2... their defence isn’t the same as it was last season, missing out the way they did has had a long lasting effect on their mentality and lots of their players heads have been turned ... and the top players gone.

maybe so, but there hasn't been much turnover. thought Toney was a good purchase to replace Watkins, to be fair.

apparently they're having trouble shifting Benrahma and if it doesn't happen by tomorrow you'd think he will be around until at least January.

The team (Palace) that is trying to get the deal over the line has until 16 October.

No they haven't, the deadline for Premier League clubs to sign a player is today.
They can sell/loan to EFL clubs until the 16th

I don't think that's my understanding reading this article

"During this window, clubs will only be able to trade with EFL clubs (either loans or permanent registrations)," said a Premier League statement.

"No transfers can take place between Premier League clubs in this period."

Reading that you're right, that's not the way I heard it reported previously though.
I guess in reality the vast majority of the deals will be players out of the Premier League clubs & Benhrama would be the exception.

I'm not sure that I have ever read such an out of touch comment on this forum!
