Brian Wilson RIP ...

The word legend is bandied about very freely these days, but Brian Wilson was a genius, a fantastically talented individual and a genuine legend. His music touched millions.
I was born in the back half of the 1960’s and missed a lot of their music the first time around, but their sounds were a huge part of my life from the age of 11 onwards and I still love the music today. I prefer them to the Stones and the Beatles, pretty controversial I know but that’s just my view.

Loads of great tunes, including Wouldn't it be nice, God only knows, Sloop John B, Sumahama, but the best for me is Good Vibrations.

Brain Wilson, thank you. RIP.

I just remembered that when I saw Brian in Cardiff I met up with Ebo.
God I miss him talking to me about utter shite bands.
He would have been delighted to see the return of Stereolab. The cover of their first album 'Peng' was his avatar. Would have been gutted by Wilson's passing as are many of us.
Sadly a foretaste of what's to come.

Yes he would have.
He was a good lad,the best thing about him was that you could argue black and blue with him and your relationship wouldn’t change.
He was phoning me or leaving a voice message from the hospital every morning then one morning he didn’t.
RIP John. ♥️
