• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Starmer was probably brought up in what I’d describe as lower middle class. What would meet your definition of “working though?
That’s semantics. I’ll give you that but in no way is he from a well off background.

Max, re interest on savings…

All savings inside an ISA are exempt from tax, regardless of the value. For savings outside of an ISA, you don’t pay tax on the first £1000 of interest earned. For an account paying 3% interest, this basically means you need a balance of £33k before you pay tax, and if you’ve got this much money sat outside of an ISA then you really need to fix that.
I don't know that much about ISA's I know that you can put a maximum of 20k into one between april to april and I suppose you can remove that 20k at the end of the year and put it into another ISA and so on etc?
That figure is being reduced to £12,500 though.

“Rich mates” imagine being PM and not have to deal with rich people that would be something.

This is what you do. You just deflect go on have a bit of bottle explain in concrete terms why he is no 1 not from a working class background and who his rich mates are.
I haven't deflected anything. It is plain a simple, the billionaire friends of this government do not pay enough tax.

Which ones? And does the government have actual “billionaire friends”? Cos from what I can tell they don’t seem to have many if any.

Hahahahahahaha

There is it. The Daily Mail speaks.
I've no idea what the Daily Mail writes I don't buy or read papers, I heard what I wrote on the national news.
But you as always won't accept any of it cause you always think you know better and right it off with laughter.

Can't be arsed to get in to this on a Sunday evening, you're just being awkward and know exactly where I'm coming from.

Pointless trying to talk with these Labour apologists. Starmer and gang can do no wrong on their eyes.

I don’t but it’s a recurring theme that when challenged on an opinion you can very rarely back it up and then take the “I’m out of this” route to avoid further discussion. Hey ho.
