• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Corbyn's your party will cut into Labour's failing popularity. Wonder what he makes of the current plight.

Labour needs a true leader, one who will not only stand up to Reform they'll highlight them for what they truly are.

This country needs fixing, I've never known society to be so divided.
But there will never be a true leader or party, if you think of it logically, if any party was to become good they would never be ousted. How many years have we gone through this, a party comes in, a party goes. Even if Reform mange to get in next election, they will be gone eventually.

So to summarise, since the existence of British Government, No party, has ever come out as a clear winner, it just seems at the moment, it's a pass the baton to the next one to Fuck it up.. Funny, but Very Sad.

They'd need to sort themselves out before anyone is going to take them seriously as a party.

Tony Blair was a breath of fresh air when he first came in to power, it's someone like him this country needs right now.

Not sure about that mate, I think Blair left a bit of a stain with the WMD, he's not very liked for that. What he did, doesn't ride well with me.

My own view is that we let the government do its thing and see where we are in 2029 when the next election rolls around. I’ll be accused of being a
Labour shill and that’s fine. My political leanings have never been a secret on this forum.

I'm talking about the way he started not finished.

The whole WMD tarnished his legacy.

There's a lot riding on the next 6 months, if it doesn't go well it could signal the end of Starmers political career.

Labour aren’t p as keen on decapitating PMs as the Tories are but we live in strange times. May’s local elections could be pivotal.

Sorry my man. Honest, I can't remember the way he started politics in the 80's. 90's I just remember what transpired afterwards with Thatcher and Blair, earlier years with Blair, I have no recollection of Blair back then, for my shall we say deniability of not knowing that, I was rather off my head at the time, in my 20's who gives a ferk, life was good,

He'll do well to last past May if things stay the way they are. It certainly going to be an interesting few months ahead.

Blair won his first election in 1997.
