Budget November 2025

Talk about a complete joke. Monty Python's Judean People's Front and the Popular Front of Judea ratcheted up several notches.
As for a new Labour leader, I think their only hope is to go through with getting Andy Burnham elected to a safe seat, then him mounting a leadership challenge pronto. He's keeping his cards close to his chest at the moment.
Sultana it’s cofounder boycotted the first day of its founding conference.

This should tell you how serious they are as a party 😂

I quite like Andy Burnham, he appeals to me more than Sir Kier Starmer 🤷🏻

So everything is rosy in the Rockinj garden, tidy.👍
So by saying it’s not equitable with Johnson or truss I’m saying it’s all good?

I’m not Labour ideologically so why would I say it was rosy even just from that standpoint.

Radical action is required as I’ve already said but that requires a bold mandate at an election.

I think they’re bloody cowardly on a number of issues but cowardly is different to destructive policies with actual intent like removing us from the biggest free trading bloc in the world.

What is it about 2025 that we have to have absolutist positions on everything. I can absolutely criticise this Gov and still recognise the context of the situation and how awful the previous incumbents were which impacts.

Tidy👍

For ordinary working folk, the current state of this country is nothing short of fvcking horrendous, it just is. Nothing more to add, anyone who thinks otherwise you need to wake up. That's me Deborah on this thread.👋
Deborah?

It’s £20k per annum. Just into ISAs.

So people who can afford to save an additional £20k every year on top of their living expenses. And they’re the ones who shouldn’t pay tax?

Right.
Who can afford to pay 20k into isa's every year? and who mentioned isa's? Pensioners shouldn't be taxed on their pensions or the interest on their savings in my view savings that they have scrimped and saved to help them in their retirement to live and maybe have a few luxuries the way energy bills and the like are increasing the won't be able to live without their maybe modest savings.
All the while they are seeing this government give billions away, in foreign aid etc.

And let’s forget the MASSIVE black hole that would create in public finances.

The inequity between the generations is the real challenge of our times.

The triple lock should be scrapped for one.

“I’ve paid in all my life” such an entitled group. Many of the women never worked for one!
The massive black hole that doesn't exist you mean, there's a report out says that Reeves lied and there is or was 4billion tucked away in the pot.

You don't believe it though no doubt.
