• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

He has no need to apologise, there is a lot more in his positive column rather than the negative one so far this season. The OGs are neither here or there, they can happen to any player and are just unfortunate.
What was more concerning to me yesterday was his often wayward distribution of the ball out from the back. Maybe a sign of desperation.

Players apologising on social media ffs.
The games gone I’m telling you.
Bloody snowflakes 🤭

I quite liked that post, show he's cares and he's hurting after a defeat.

How long was Grimes captain for? I couldn't tell you what his voice sounds like.

Cabango needs to step up as well.

He's obviously aware of the dissatisfaction and feels responsible after the 2 ogs, no big deal, fair enough Cam but the issues on display yesterday were beyond your 2 deflections

The second og, is it just me thinking he should’ve tried clearing with his weaker right foot, instead of sliding in with his left?

I've noticed recently that Burgess is not the best passer of the ball. At least 6 times yesterday he passed out from the back to the opposition.

He's passed it into touch a few times this season aswell.

He's not the best in a 50/50 tackle situation either, not the best at winning a header from a corner, probably not the sharpest pencil when a calm head is required. But it is what it is...

Yes, noticed a few stray ones which put them back on the front foot..

I don’t think he is as comfortable on the ball and passing the ball as Darling was, but our passing in general was completely off against Ipswich. I’ve seen some decent passes from him this season. It’s tough for him when we barely seem to involve the 6 in build up play, means that he either has to hit the fullback or wingers or go for a longer ball to the striker. I think both him and Cabango can be better at passing if the game is simplified for them.

Call me soft, but not a huge fan of our players playing in New York on a Tuesday, and then Bristol at 12pm on a Saturday. There was international break before the Hull game a few months ago, and Burgess had been in Australia 48 hours before, but still started. Can't honestly believe that he's fully fit with that travel.
