Cannot believe this game is not being televised, with sky opting for Blackpool V Forest instead.
Both teams only game left that anyone gives a s**t about and it wont be shown, what a disgrace.

IN fairness why would Sky's viewing audience want to watch two sides in the lower mid table positions of the Championship battle it out ?

Not really a disgrace?

I mean does anyone want to watch Blackpool V Forest? Can see that one being a big draw for any neutral.
To be honest might be blinkered by my hate of Sky sports and how they have constantly tried to ruin every sport they buy the rights to (kick off times etc).

I dont want to watch Blackpoolv Forest but in fairness I cant imagine too many Blackpool or Forest fans will be attracted by Cardiff v Swansea either

Not disagreeing on Sky Sports

Personally I don't watch any other Championship match on Sky unless it involves us, I might have a look at the end of the season if it was a winner takes all match, but in general, the Championship bores the tìts off me.

I'm surprised that Sky have shown all the derby matches in the last decade to be honest. It means the world to us but to the rest of the country its no more interesting than the Sheffield derby or the Norwich/Ipswich derby for instance. Neither team will go up or down and at least the Blackpool/Forest game is between two teams still in with a chance of the play offs.

It's always been that you have to get on the bus at the Liberty unfortunately.

Not sure that's the case now. I know there were pickups in Cardiff West last time, and those based locally were allowed to leave the stadium directly on the QT.

It'd be worth asking the club directly.

They have let a limited number of people go directly to the ground, outside the bubble in the past.
I did this for the 2020 game, as I live London way. For that game, the club had announced they would allow some to attend outside the bubble and said to get in touch if that’s what you wanted to do.
I sent and email explaining my circumstance and they allowed me to just buy a ticket for the game.

Bubble Question.
Is swansea the only place to catch the bubble bus, or do they have pick ups at Bridgend etc?

I fancy taking my son to his first away derby, certainly don't want to miss the first ever double.

As we live less than 4 miles from legoland, and my lad has an important game Saturday morning a Bridgend or Cardiff west pick up would make it sweet.

We did that the year we drew 0-0 to them. Police just chucked us out at the end in with all the cardiff fans walking out. Was hairy to say the least, as luck would have it a group of cardiff fans down our way were walking through exactly same time. I'd be a bit cautious on doing that with your son to be honest.

As our Derby game is a 3pm Saturday ko it can't be broadcast live in the UK by Sky or anyone else.

Sky dictate who is shown and at what time though, not the fixture list. It'll not happen but if they gave S4C or BBC Wales the green light to show the game then the kick off time would be changed to suit

Sign of the changing times.

I've always maintained that within 10 years this won't even be a bubble

But the kickoff time never makes a difference to someone who is determined to be leathered beforehand

The issue for me is that the game will be sold out and many many Swansea fans won't get the opportunity to witness an historic occasion.

Blackpool v Forest won't sell out

if its not live on TV at least relax the rules around purchasing it via Swans TV for £10.

this’ll be a sell out for Swans fans, can’t see the bluebirds selling out, their ground is far to big for them.

This will be a commercial decision by Sky. They have televised the Derby for many years now and the decision to drop it will be because no one’s watching outside South Wales. Advertisers will be looking at the audience size and the cost of the adverts and acting accordingly. Whether any more will watch Blackpool play Forest is another matter…

Very few people outside of South Wales gives a toss about this game, why would they?

'tis true. To your neutral supporter this registers of no more importance than, say, Rotherham vs Sheffield Wednesday derby. They really hate each other too, but nobody else gives a monkeys. Ditto us and Scumtit Central.

It really should be something for a Welsh broadcast channel if anyone.
