• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

They’ll get mathematically relegated on Monday if:

Cardiff lose to WBA (a) and Oxford (h)

Hull pick up 4 pts from: (a) to us, Preston (h)

Derby pick up 6 pts from Luton (h), WBA (a)

Just took a look assuming cardiff lose fri/mon then stoke need a point, pompey a win Hull a win and Derby 2 wins then they are down.

2 x home games & 2 x away games for them lot.
Hopefully they'll get turned over by Sheff Utd tomorrow, so by the time they play on Monday, and given their managers press conference yesterday, the atmosphere will be toxic & they just capitulate.

I still think they’ll wriggle out of it.
They always do….but if they don’t, I think the Tan Arse will lose all interest, try and get as much out as he can and they’ll slide further. League 1 gives him nothing of value and a huge reminder of his failure.

If they go down they'll probably do quite well. They'll get rid of a few high earners like Robinson, Daaland, Salech, El Ghazi, Meite, Chambers, Ramsey retired. NG might get bought by someone.

But they'll probably still have a core of players nobody will want to buy but will be good in that division like Fish, Ralls, Colwill, Davies, Ashford, the keeper and decent youngsters like the other Colwill and king who've been doing well on loan.

It won't be the division it's been this season with no Wrexham, Brum. If wycombe don't go up can't see them matching this season.

Play offs if they make a few sensible signings. PSR isn't a huge factor in league 1.

If Cardiff lose the court case, which I think they will, the only way Tan will get any money back would be probably to sell the stadium. Could see a Coventry situation.
