• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Personally i would like to see Wrexham replace the mighty Capital City club as our Welsh Derby opponents next season.

Under Luke it certainly looked like we did at times play less than 50% let alone 100.
Players have off days mind.
Let’s hope against hope it doesn’t come to it because if it did and we didn’t win it would be dreadful. There’d be a cloud over us for decades.

You reckon?

It would be forgotten quite quickly except for those down the road.
I have seen plenty of games on the last day of the season when we haven't turned up, players having one eye on their holidays etc etc.

If the scenario was that the team that we played needed to win and Cardiff went down.....we could attack the game and really go for it but if we ultimately lost despite going for it 100%......scum would still call that we did it on purpose.

Who cares what they do and don't think.

Our players throwing a game is a good discussion?
No, what we are discussing regards losing a game we went out to win.....they would still think we did it on purpose.

That would create a good discussion.

Your last sentence is exactly why we should all hope it doesn’t happen.

And absolutely yes, I do reckon there’d be a cloud over us.
Not least because a significant number of our fans would be celebrating losing on camera which would be shown over and over. And comments made in public such as those made by some on here would hang over us.

If we kept them up it gives us a nice stick to beat them with.

My last sentence was more a case of us going out to win and ultimately losing......that could easily happen if we are in that scenario this season.

lets just hope we are not in the situation where the scum are relying on us to win for their safety in this league....that would avoid all potential issues that could follow.
