If Hull win one of their next 2
If Derby win Friday
Cardiff lose away to Sheffield Utd

They'll be 4 points adrift with 3 games remaining

If Sheehan is still trying to convince the higher ups he will continue to play his best 11. He isn't gonna throw away the last 4 matches to help youth at this stage.
Serious question: why would the 'higher ups' want Sheehan to continue to play his best 11, does the club get more money?

Now that we are officially on the beach, shouldn't we thank the on-loan players but keep them on the bench (or beach) while we give the U-21s more experience?

Hoping this is the case come Friday evening.

Sheff Utd on a bit of a bad run so they really need to turn up at home against Cardiff and I think they will.

They have to if they are playing teams who can go up or down.
Plus we get extra money the higher we finish.

Not that higher ups want him to keep playing best 11, he will want to do that to further convince them if they are on the fench. Also on separate note, some loans do have clauses like they have to play x amount. As we don't have many loans that not an issue at moment.

I genuinely thought they'd put a few past stoke today and am amazed they lost.

They really are a fcking dreadful side aren't they.

Wouldn't be surprised if they finished bottom in the end

We're 8 points off the playoffs with 12 left to play for. It's unlikely, but we're on a roll. And the fact that we get more money the higher up we are.

Players are also playing for their positions and potential new contracts etc.

I wouldn't mind playing the u21s against Oxford to try and blood in a few new players. If we lose then that's fine it won't make a difference (to us).

Bolloxs to playing an understrength team against Oxford, or anyone else for that matter, Cardiff will go down under their own steam.
One poster on Anus's site has stated to get Colin in to save them and surprise surprise someone agrees.. I just started laughing when I saw it
