Cardiff City relegation party

If he’s being reasonable for an asking price, he’d generate interest for sure. I might’ve read or heard that he’s been asking for £200M(quote me if I’m wrong), which is just unrealistic. I’d say £30-£40M tops.

No way, someone involved with Cardiff City being unrealistic, nay, frivolous, even?

Get outta town.

When he loses the last throw of the Sala dice, he'll hopefully sell anything that isn't bolted down and cut his losses.

Sorry to say, but I think Cardiff may finally have made a good managerial appointment. His limited and mediocre track record and the divergence in playing style are reasons why he may fail, but BBM could be the manager that gets them playing with a coherent style, maximizing the quality in their youth setup.

The last thing we should be is smug and complacent. If they achieve instant success by largely drawing in their academy, it will make recruitment and retention of our academy prospects even more difficult. In Wales' recent U19s games we only had Sam Parker, whereas Cardiff had 5 (IIRC, plus 3 who had been poached).

If our owners are genuinely ambitious they need to give some thought to our academy, and especially it's categorization.

They rubbish mum, enjoy it while it lasts. They’ll either turn it around at some point or we’ll end up stinking the place out more them so give ‘em all the stick you can while you can.

Paul Clement was a highly rated coach (he's still Ancelotti's go-to guy. Currently assistant boss with Brazil) but was never much of a manager. Cardiff seem to be putting a hell of a lot of faith in BBM to be different despite the evidence to the contrary so far.

Some of their fans seem to think they are going to being playing like Citeh on day 1.
Well of course they do.

In the same way they think they "should" have been challenging for the playoffs with that squad last season, instead of getting relegated with it.

Minor details like relegation to the third tier won't stop Cardiff fans from thinking it won't be long until they reclaim their rightful place at the top of European football.

Paddy Murphy is going to be the man to start the rebirth, just you watch!
