• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

For completeness sake, where's the 'I want them both promoted' button? For the sake of national football and all that (asking for a friend).

‘Both’ and ‘Neither’ options can be included in the next poll, that somebody else puts up. 😁

Cardiff for me but with the additional reasoning that if my local club (Bromley) could get promoted I can go to Hayes Lane next season and verbally abuse them

DGAF, comes close.
Not for people that do, and hate them both.

Anyway, there is no choice. Cardiff scum. It’s not up for discussion if you’re a Jack. The Goggy Scouse are a total irrelevance.

It's going to have to be Wrexham for me, not because of this supposed 'rivalry' with them, but because the only way I can conceivably see either going up is via the play-offs although I can't see Wrexham being anywhere near close to the playoffs with their current manager. Good enough to take them from the National League at the second time of asking despite a budget of at least twice their nearest rivals. That cash has carried him to the Championship despite his obvious shortcomings. But as we know, cash alone doesn't take you out of this division - the Championship can rob you senseless and take all your cash and leave you with your pants around your ankles, no matter how deep your pockets, and even if you splash the sponds like it's going out of fashion, it's possible that, rather than reach the promised land, you'll leave via the tradesman's.

Any way, back to the point, supporting the Swans has to come before any rivalry with Cardiff, and potential play-off rivals trump Cardiff tor me this season.

Got to be Wrexham. Can’t stand the arrogance of their fans. Cardiff used to behave the same way but came down to earth/looked in the mirror ages ago, we had a lot to do with that over the years. I hate Cardiff as much as the next Jack, memories of ‘gas a Jack’ and horse impressions in the away end die hard but I just don’t…care as much/almost pity them these days. It started to feel in recent years Bristol City were emerging as the key rival and there’s a good case to make that argument when you look at it from a league/history POV.. The thought of a club getting 4 back to back promotions off the back of Hollywood and Disney etc then giving it the big one over Wales’ true number 1 club who reached the heights/went through a similar ascendancy but organically…How can a Jack be ok with that? Look at their forum and I mostly see a ridiculous sense of entitlement over the last few years and now them moaning about how they have zero atmosphere at their games due to football tourism. Plus, if Wrexham stay in the league and Cardiff come up you have the three in the same league and isn’t that a bit tasty?

I am surprised that approximately 38% of the vote have not wanted Cardiff to not be promoted.

I guess this Swansea board is a broad spectrum and not what many on here expected ( me included) .

We are a small guide to what the overall Swans fan base thinks. Do not get above ourselves is a lesson.
