• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Just march fans back and forth to the station like they do when we visit Bristol City and they visit us.

The police operation is a completely over the top and a huge wast of money.
Won't happen buddy. Way too many on both sides be coked off their tits to worry bout consequences. Pockets of trouble breaking out everywhere is way more difficult to police. Won't change in our lifetime, all it'll take is trouble breaks out in either city first time and it'll be straight back to a bubble.

This - ending the bubble will never happen, and it shouldn't. Mayhem will break out, and it's back to the norm. The difference between our game with them and Liverpool/Everton or Man City/Man U etc is that both sets of fans are within a close geographical distance, they mix, ,they work together, they may go to the same pubs, they are aware of each other and respect them and keep their distance rather than fight.

What is needed is a change in how it is organised. Not depart 3 hours before KO for a game 45 minutes away. Leave 75 minutes before KO with every bus leaves at the same time with an escort to the door and open the gates, no separate tickets needed so no need to scan individual tickets as only those who have paid for tickets will be on the buses.

While keeping the bubble it can be run so much better.

I think they could do it if they wanted to.

At the moment it's easy money for them, just standing around doing naff all and earning a tidy wage in doing so.
