• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Still very early days and they've got some tough fixtures out of the way. But when you're on a run like they are it's hard to turn it round. Still think they'll survive.

Think it will be harder to stay up this season. The promoted sides have started fairly well and I think Portsmouth will kick on when they get key players back. Plymouth look a bit more organised and Sheff Wed have started better. Glad we have picked up points the way we have unbeaten at home and not shipping 3 plus goals a game like last season.

They haven't got anyone to win them games.

Previously when they were struggling they had Moore, Kaba, etc. None of their forward players will score more than 10 in a season

One thing I noticed at the game yesterday was the complete apathy from the fans (and the players actually)… but it was surprised there were no groans from the fans at all, no grumbling… it was weird.

It was actually Leeds fans booing their team for not putting Cardiff to the sword.

Only one goal and one point from six games. It makes the draw in the derby even more annoying.

Goal difference can very often be telling on how bad things are; they are -12 with the next worst being -6.

Hull away up next for them.
Absolutely, if we had only looked to get a second goal it would have killed them off.

Can't rule out the Rooney factor though for Plymouth. He has a talent for turning good sides into relegation fodder
